The Google security glitches received a lot of press. The two main concerns focused on both the performance and security of the calendar application and customer support responsiveness. While the security issue was a quick fix, the support issue lingers. Users are now paying for support over the phone to receive the appropriate answer to their problem. Consumers are willing to pay as long as someone actually does get to them.
Frustrated with the lack of response, users are migrating to paid solutions. With ClearSync, even if there is a small hiccup (glitch happens, right?), our tech support works hard to attend to each and every customer in a timely fashion. This is what makes ClearSync stand out from the crowd: data security is always taken into consideration while a viable solution is appropriated to each and every customer to suit a specific need.
With the influx of Android and other smartphones out there, teens are deciding that the normal phone is no longer “cool” or robust as they have a need for Internet to participate in social networks, play games, even manage their lives. Mobile Marketing Watch reports that younger phone users are eager to buy iPhones, Androids or other smartphones in the next six months.
Consider the amount of services that are part of the average smartphone. Then, consider the amount of things needed to get separately that are in it: Cell phone, Mobile e-mail reader, Music player, Point-and-shoot camera, Camcorder, GPS unit, Portable DVD player, Voice recorder, Watch, and Calculator. Compiling the price total of all of these surely outweighs the price total of owning a smartphone and a carrier plan associated with it. This article also clarifies our thoughts. But most of all, it pays to buy a smartphone because one will not need to carry any of the items named above. They are already included in the phone.
When a typical user looks into buying a smartphone, major factors influencing the purchase are price, connection speed, carrier reputation, and the hardware. But what about the availability of the operating system (OS) updates? The Android operating system releases with operating system upgrades about every 3 or 4 months. Usually, devices that are released just prior to a new OS release can be upgraded to the new version if the carrier is planning for this–it is crucial to help buyers know they are getting a phone that will stay current after they buy it. Some carriers don’t perform this upgrade in a timely fashion, even after the OS has been released for a while. This leaves the user with the original OS on the phone, and as time goes by that same phone is prematurely obsolete as higher OS phones come out. We at ClearSync suggest checking for availability for upgrades as this may very well be the key to continue using applications on the phone and have a faster device in general. Android Power by JR Raphael finds that HTC, Motorola and Samsung top the list for timely upgrades to the current operating system on their phone releases in 2010.
LifeHacker asks the question, “How does your daily routine compare with Ben Franklin’s?” You remember, the author of “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” Apparently, at least in print, his daily schedule involved rising at 5AM, in order to address himself to “Powerful Goodness” and prepare for the day, by, among other things, asking, “What good shall I do this day?” The day ends, at a reasonable time, with Franklin asking, “What good have I done today?” Notice, in this listing of his daily routine, he gets about 7 hours sleep. But no one accused Ben Franklin of being a slacker.
What questions do you put in your schedule, to keep you on track? What daily activities/reflection/disciplines keep you focused on your most important goals for the day? Do you use ClearSync to keep your appointments, or to remind you to reflect on your day and purpose good in it? Or do you do that automatically? Or not at all? Perhaps a daily repeating untimed event could show up, “Remember to reflect on my day and be grateful for small things.”
Sometimes it takes a study to confirm what a moment’s reflection would indicate. Microsoft sponsored a study that confirmed that Cloud computing for business uses less energy. More and more companies are putting their business processes, collaborative efforts, marketing, sales and invoicing in the cloud to save energy, environment, and even to reduce their IT costs. ClearSync as a tool for delivering value for price reduces communication and coordination costs, allowing our small to mid-size businesses to offer their services for less and beat out the competition. ClearSync can help your service business deliver cost effective customer solutions.

ClearSync enables you to create multiple calendars and contact lists (personal, work, kids, etc.) and keep them synchronized across multiple platforms and devices including any Android phone.
With so much going on in our lives, it’s a challenge to have it all managed. Looking at the blog post from TechnoLawyer , it is evident that not only busy lawyers, but anyone else can setup a calendar for each of their “lives”, whether it’s work, family, sports, hobbies, or travel. Seeing these “lives” side by side via multiple calendar concept, an individual can easily see if there is a time slot for whatever that needs to be done. As a means of time management, coordination, and communication, the multiple and shared calendar concept, as realized by ClearSync, can help you have the life you desire and enjoy the life you have.
One of the worst environmental human-caused disasters occurred shortly after the Exxon Valdez left the southern terminus of the Alaska Pipeline on March 23, 1989. The actions of Captain Joseph Hazelwood have been scrutinized heavily and he was acquitted of the charge of being drunk at the time. But what is not disputed is that, within two hours of the departure of the vessel, Hazelwood left the wheel house in the charge of a Third Mate and another member of the crew. These two had been scheduled to receive their mandatory 6-hours off-duty before beginning a 12-hour shift. But because of a scheduling mixup, they went back on duty and were bleary-eyed at the helm when the Exxon Valdez struck Bligh Reef shortly after midnight on March 24th, less than 3 hours into its journey to Long Beach, California. It is quite likely that, had the intended schedule been kept and had these men received the proper time-off, this rookie error would not have occurred and 10.9 million gallons of Prudhoe Bay crude would not have been dumped into the waters and pristine coastline of Prince William Sound, resulting in the deaths of 500,000 seabirds, at least 1,000 sea otters, 300 harbor seals and 22 killer whales, and the decimation of countless other fish and coastal life.
